Event Info

We believe running is about more than just kilometres. It’s about the people you run them with.

In 2026, we’re bringing back our Patagonia Berlin Community Runs and making them a monthly ritual. Once a month, we’ll head out together for an easy-paced run around Mitte, connect along the way, and hang out afterwards with drinks, snacks, and good conversations in store.

On this occasion, we’re excited to welcome an Active Giving joining us, bringing even more purpose, energy, and connection to every step we take.

Our runs are led by our colleague Malte, a long-time runner with deep roots in the running community. From marathons to ultramarathons, running is a huge part of his life, and he’s excited to share that experience while keeping things welcoming, relaxed, and fun.

What to expect
• Around 7–8 km at an easy, conversational pace
• Streets, paths, and nearby green spaces around Mitte
• All levels welcome. No one gets left behind
• Drinks, snacks, and time to hang out after the run

How to join
Sign up for free via the link above.
The run is open to everyone 18+. You don’t need to be an expert runner, just comfortable running around 7–8 km at a relaxed pace.

Rain or shine, we run anyway.

What to bring
• Comfortable running shoes
• Layers depending on the weather

You’ll be able to leave your bag, phone, keys, and other belongings safely in store during the run.

We’re excited to build this into a regular moment for the local running community and would love to have you join us.

Active Giving

The Active Giving app is a fitness-for-purpose platform that converts physical activities—like running, walking, cycling, or yoga—into social and environmental impact, primarily planting trees. Users track workouts directly or sync with Strava to support reforestation projects worldwide, aiming to improve personal health while fighting climate change.

Malte Niebling

Trailrunner

From a young age, Malte was drawn to the outdoors — a love that only grew stronger with every place explored and every peak chased. Trail running became his way of moving through the world, where body, mind, and soul meet the rhythm of nature. It’s hard to put into words — but it’s something he hopes to pass on, while protecting the planet we call home.

Malte is a trail runner and member of Patagonia Berlin team.
